“Brief Character-analytic Psychotherapy” (PBC) is a focal application of the Characteroanalytic Vegetotherapy (W.Reich - F. Navarro) developed by Xavier Serrano within the ESTER, to be used both in public mental health centers, as well as in private practice, with those who for financial or clinical reasons can not engage in a deep and long psychotherapy.
Starting from a bio-psycho-social vision of disease and health, psycho- dynamic, phenomenological and neuromuscular tools are used in a brief setting, with a maximum duration of twenty individual sessions that are combined, sometimes, with some group sessions and when necessary with psychotherapy of couples.
Its effectiveness in addressing sexual and personality disorders, anxiety, distress, phobias and depressive states, has been demonstrated by research and case monitoring for more than twenty years.
The training of PBC specialist, together with the two hundred hours result of master sessions conducted by specialized professors, tutorials and work in self-managed teams, the candidates will carry out a didactic analysis with the PBC, as well as seminars and clinical cases supervision..
Requirements: University degree in psychology, medicine or health sciences, or students of some of these careers.
