Training in Audio-Psycho-Phonology

The TOMATIS Technique or Audio-Psycho-Phonology (APF) was developed and developed by Dr.Alfred TOMATIS, constituting an authentic pedagogy of listening. Prof. A. Tomatis, MD and specialist in Otorhinolaryngology, presented in 1957 at the Paris Academy of Sciences the result of his research on the ear as a stimulator of the functions of the Central Nervous System and the relationships between the ear and the language.

It favors the opening of the child or the adult to listen and to communicate with their environment.

Its purpose is to train the human ear to acquire its listening function, to ensure its role in the control of language and as an inducer of laterality.

The stimulation program is carried out by the device conceived and developed by him, called Electronic Ear, and consists in the reproduction of the psycho-physiological development stages of the ear and the language, from the intrauterine period to its maturation.

For some years, we introduced this clinical tool into the R & D plan, which could contribute our structural differential perspective and its use as a convergent tool within our psychotherapeutic praxis.

It is very effective in language disorders, communication and relationship problems, openness of receptivity and empathy, as well as a preventive in memory disorders.
